Bladder Infection Symptoms

Urinary Tract infection (UTI) or better know as bladder infection affect different people differently, some could be a frightening especially when it’s their first time and not sure what to expect. Meanwhile some doesn’t even display any bladder infection symptoms at all.
Below are the common bladder infection symptoms people might experience:
- The burning sensation when urinating
- The urge to urinate and frequently.
- Urine was cloudy or could contain blood and smell foul.
- Pressure feeling or pain in the rectum for men and around the pubic bone area for women.
- Urinating small amount of urine even though the person has a strong urge to urinate.
Other bladder infection symptoms which is accompanied by UTI:
- fatigue
- feeling of weakness
- Not common to have fever if the infection are only contained in lower urinary tract, but will happen if the infection has spread to the kidneys or went into blood stream.
Infections on the urinary tract are less likely to happen to infants compared to adults or children. Affected infants could develop fever only and no other bladder infection symptoms as shown above. Infants whom suffer from UTI may appear irritable and have fever. They could also generate loose stools as well as feeding problems. Urinary tract infections or bladder infections are difficult to diagnose in babies especially because of the non specific nature of the many bladder infection symptoms.
Urinalysis
Urinalysis is the testing of urine for urinary tract infection diagnosis. Urine are collected from patient and are check for any blood presence and also pus.
